May – Last two weekends 

A 10 day festival held to kick off the busy tourism season in Gros Morne, encompasses an array or arts, cultural and heritage events, including music, readings, crafts, walks and dinners. Pictureque town of Norris Point, surrounded by Gros Morne National Park. 

August – Middle of August

The annual Writers at Woody Point festival provides readings, musical performances, and other artists events the third week in August. 

The festival has grown offering events most of the year at the hertigage theatre in Woody Point including Comedy Festival, and a fall Festival in October. 

End of May – End of September

Based in Cow Head, is the Festival is a major Canadian Theathre features high-quality professional theatre based on the stories about or from Newfoundland and Labrador, speaking to the place in which we live.  6 to 8 plays

Gros Morne Fall Festival is a celebration of crafts, music , food and culture, which takes place in the picturesque town of Cow Head in the heart of Gros Morne National Park. 

Built on the highly successful craftfair, the fall fest brings to life the traditions of the region, warm welcome, at the tail end of the annual tourist season. 

September 8th-15th

Experience the best hiking in Gros Morne National Park at the Gros Morne Hiking Festival, happening this fall, September 8th – 15th, 2024. Join fun and friendly groups on guided hikes along the park’s most spectacular trails, led by expert guides and special guests. Intermediate to advance, there’s an adventure for hikers of all levels. Challenge yourself on the Tablelands, hike the rugged coastline of Bonne Bay, conquer the summit of Gros Morne Mountain and explore off the beaten path.

Every day offers different events, guest speakers, cultural and foodie experiences and exciting adventures like boat tours, sea kayaking, cod jigging, and musical performances.
