Blues artist Garrett Mason will kick off the summe

Blues artist Garrett Mason will kick off the summer season in the Woody Point Heritage Theatre with a solo live show on Thursday, June 15th! 🎶

Juno and Maple Blues award-winning artist Garrett Mason of Nova Scotia is considered by many to be Canada's greatest living guitar player. After having traveled for many years as a trio, this is his first solo tour across the country, and Garrett's solo act is truly a sight to behold.

We can't wait to hear his refined blues-rock sound at Woody Point Heritage Theatre. See you at the show.

There's nothing like the sounds of old-time music! Tomorrow night during the Trails Tales Tunes Festival, join in Old Time Music Night at the Norris Point Town Hall. Tunes will be provided by Craig Young, Shirley Montague, Wayne Parsons, and Elaine Clarke! Admission is by donation at the door and the music starts at 8pm.

Tickets for the 20th Writers at Woody Point go on sale Saturday, May 13 at 11am (NDT)!

To make sure things go smoothly when you're buying your tickets, the event organizers asked us to share some tips and info.

🎟 Tickets are available online (link in bio)
✏ You'll need to have a Ticketpro account to buy online. To save time, its a good idea to get your account set up in advance.
📞 You can also buy tickets over the phone by calling 1-888-311-9090
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Limit of four (4) tickets per customer per show
↔ Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. All sales are final.
👍 There are also a number of free, ‘un-ticketed’ events throughout the week. Some are free, some have admission at the door. You'll find details on the Writers at Woody Point website.
🪑 Part of the magic of this festival is the intimacy of the Heritage Theatre. A capacity of just over 200 means that not everyone gets tickets they want. The good news is, you can join the Woody Point Exchange Facebook group. There'll you'll find people buying and selling tickets right up until showtime.

The Catch are back in town during the Trails Tales Tunes Festival, and they're bringing the legendary Sandy Morris with them.

Join them at the Cat Stop on the Norris Point waterfront on Friday, May 26th for a night of unforgettable tunes.

This is always a packed show! Get your armbands starting at 8:45pm and be sure to arrive early so you don't miss out. Admission is $10 and the party starts at 10pm.
